These eyes have gotta have glasses

We've started with the new doctor, who ordered a whole raft of tests. I'm glad to find out his hearing is perfect, and we were very surprised to find out that he needs glasses. He's quite longsighted!
So far he's pretty happy about it, although I think the nerves are kicking in a little bit as he thinks about wearing them to school. It's both a good thing and a bad thing that he cares what other kids think about him. I'm hoping the boys he really likes will give him some positive words, otherwise he might decide he's not going to wear them...
I'm hoping we'll see some definite positive outcomes from the glasses. More concentration? Less flappability? Perhaps!
