The Ava Show

$17.50
Sold Out

Ava’s been training hard for an awesome athletics season, and is looking forward to celebrating her twelfth birthday.

Life’s great—and Chloe the dog is having puppies! Even if Mum gets annoyed at Ava’s lack of organisation, Ava can always rely on her best friend Josie and her sister Maddie to pick up after her.

But when the pandemic hits, everything’s cancelled.

There’s no school, no birthday, no athletics, no toilet paper and definitely no Josie to rely on. When a puppy goes missing, it’s Ava’s fault. Can she mend her irresponsible ways in time?

___________

The Ava Show is part of the Kangaroo Valley School series, set in the Aussie town of Kangaroo Valley, focusing on a character in Year 6 at school. Three of the Kangaroo Valley School titles are listed as part of the NSW Premier's Reading Challenge.

Reader Reviews

"As a Middle School teacher, I love that in her books, Cecily introduces children to essential social skills, without lecturing. Her books are highly entertaining, age appropriate and clean, offering some helpful tips for our children at such a crucial age. Cecily's books are the ones that you just can't put down and the first I recommend to my 'popular girls'. They love them and they learn from them. Highly recommended."
